About The Founder
Mara Bolis, founder of First Prompt, has spent over twenty years helping people and communities access opportunity, grow their economic power, and drive meaningful change.
Her career has spanned global nonprofits like Oxfam to roles in finance and government, including work at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. Most recently, she served as a Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School, creating learning experiences for leaders from all over the world.
Mara started First Prompt after seeing so many smart, capable women around me who were curious about AI but felt unsure where to start. First Prompt is a place where you can show up as you are, ask questions without judgment, and build skills in a way that feels empowering, relevant, and even fun.
